I’m Jordan

I’ve been in the automotive and design world for the last 12 years, starting my journey in advertising supporting new business and working on luxury car brands like Cadillac and Lincoln. I left advertising for General Motors in 2021 and was the first Producer for the CX Design studio, a team of only 40 people. I’ve dedicated the last four and a half years contributing to the growth of what is now the 300+ person Human Interface Design team.

I believe in authenticity, saying the hard thing and showing up fully in all aspects of my life. I believe in always leaving things better than I found them. I love navigating the complexities of large corporations, spotting problems and finding ways to increase efficiencies so that both the people and the business benefit.

My happy place is outside; lake time, camping, hiking, biking, gardening and going for evening walks (usually to get ice cream). Cooking is my therapy and something I look forward to doing after a long work day. I love hosting dinner parties, sharing a meal is one of my favorite ways to connect with people. I’ve designed and own multiple rental properties in Michigan, one of which is an Airbnb in Harbor Springs.

I’m currently based in Detroit but am heading to San Francisco in the fall to start my next chapter.

i love a good newsletter

dense discovery

“Thoughtfully curated links from a noisy web.” This is an email I actually enjoy reading! Every week, DD brings together a compact collection of links across disciplines like design, tech, art, urbanism, and sustainability, straight to my email. My favorite part is everything’s picked by hand, not an algorithm.

lunch reads

Lunch Reads was started by a friend of mine in the Detroit advertising community. More fun, culturally relevant articles. Worth signing up just to see the visual treatment of the header images.
